Close, actually it’s a halter. A bridle looks similar, but is generally used with a bit, (the metal piece that goes in the mouth to help balance and direct the horse) which is connected to the reins and allow the rider to give those signals through the bit. That’s the simple explanation, lol. Lovely composition of light and texture. It must be a beautiful stable with that wrought iron trim.
